From relaxed candid portraits taken during daycare, to more refined studio and outdoor portraits in the surrounding woodland and fields, our photography is designed to create timeless images full of character and expression. We also offer practical photography tutorials for owners wanting to take better photographs of their own dogs, helping them understand light, timing and behaviour so they can capture meaningful moments themselves.

My dog won't sit still – can you still get good photographs?
Absolutely. I have a Cocker Spaniel so I feel your pain. In fact, most of the dogs I photograph are far more interested in exploring than posing. My approach is built around patience and observation rather than expecting dogs to perform on command. Some of the best portraits happen in the quiet moments between the action, when a dog's personality shines through naturally.
Where do the portrait sessions take place?
Portrait sessions can take place in the stunning grounds and surrounding woodland of Boston Gates or in a studio-style environment depending on the look you'd like to achieve. Before the session we'll discuss your dog, their temperament and the style of photographs you'd like to create.
What is included in a portrait session?
A portrait session includes a pre-session consultation, a 60–90 minute photography session, a private online gallery and a selection of professionally edited high-resolution images. Fine art prints, framed wall art and additional digital images are also available to purchase.
Do you offer photography lessons for dog owners?
Yes. I offer one-to-one dog photography tuition for owners who would like to take better photographs of their own dogs using either a camera or smartphone. Sessions cover light, timing, composition, behaviour and simple editing techniques, helping you capture natural photographs long after the session has finished.
Do you photograph all breeds and puppies?
Yes. I photograph dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs. Every dog has a unique personality and my approach is adapted to suit their temperament, energy levels and confidence around people and cameras.
